आज के समय में वक्त की बदलती रफ़्तार ने मानव के भीतर छुपे सच कुछ इस तरह से दबा दिया है की इन्सान यह भी नहीं जनता की वह सच में क्या है। सभी तरफ झूठ और धोखा ही फैला है। मेरी यह कविता मानव जीवन के इसी कटु सत्य पर आधारित है ।

मिट्टी के फूल

आस-पड़ोस के शहरों में,

गाँव के मेलो में,
अक्ल के बाज़ारों में,
बिकते हैं-
'मिट्टी के फूल'।

वस्त्र हो या चहरा,

चढ़ता है एक के ऊपर एक; 
दिल हो या दिमाग,
फायदा ही देखता है इंसान; 

तिनको से नहीं बनते है घोसले
अब चिड़ियों के,
फूलों से नहीं सजते हैं द्वार
अब घरों के,
सभी जगह मिलते हैं फूल
अब मिट्टी के|

 बुझ-बुझ कर जलते हैं  दीप,
अमर-ज्योत की बात कहाँ !
हैवानो के डेरे में
इंसानों की जात कहाँ !
उठते हैं तूफ़ान अंशुमाली की किरणों से,
स्वर्ण किरण से सुसज्जित
खुला गगन कहाँ !

रेत के महलों में रहते हैं हम,
धरती छोड़, आसमान छुते हैं हम|
जल का हाथ   हमने थमा न होता गर,
तो धूल के गुबार में
अमृत ढूंढ नहीं,  पिला रहे होते हम!

ऐसा नहीं यहाँ  कुछ नहीं,
फूल अब भी खिलते हैं,
केवल फूल - पर -
'मिट्टी के फूल' |

Our environment is in grave danger.

Temprature is rising, glaciers are melting, sea level is rising, ozone layer is depleting, England has become too hot for growing grapes, mangoes have ripened in december, ever increasing health problems................

The list can be endless!

Who will protect our environment if we will not?

Ignoring global warming will not let it go away. Don't let selfishness and ignorance be the downfall of human race. We can't surely change everything, but we can surely do what's their in our hand.
